Acis and Galatea

Acis and Galatea
This is my favorite statue in Paris, found in the Luxembourg garden. It depicts Acis, a shepherd, and Galatea, a sea nymph, embracing as lovers beneath the scornful eye of Polyphemus (not shown here).
